Les Arts Florissants
Each year since 2007, Juilliard 历史 表演 has welcomed William Christie (described by the New Yorker as the “éminence grise of Juilliard’s ambitious 历史 表演 program”) 和 musicians from the Paris-based period-instrument ensemble Les Arts Florissants for intensive, 曲目-focused residencies. Juilliard students benefit from individual 教训, master classes, 和 public concerts, while Les Arts Florissants continues to cultivate its international presence.
Dans les Jardins de William Christie
Every August, the festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie welcomes promising students 和 alumni from Juilliard 历史 表演 to perform alongside musicians from Les Arts Florissants 和 its young artist training programs, Le Jardin des Voix 和 Les Arts Flo Juniors. 在一起, they perform outdoor concerts in 和 around the magnificent gardens of Christie’s home in the Vendée region of 法国.
Yale Institute of Sacred 音乐
Starting in 2011, the Yale Schola Cantorum 和 Juilliard415 和 have performed major oratorios under the baton of Masaaki Suzuki 和 David Hill along the East Coast 和 on international tours in Germany, 意大利, 日本, the Netherl和s, 斯堪的那维亚, 新加坡, 和缅甸. Repertoire has included Bach’s B-Minor Mass 和 St. Matthew 和 St. John Passions, Haydn’s Creation, 和 Zelenka’s Missa dei Patris.

English Concert American Fellowship
Established in 2013, the English Concert American Fellowship provides valuable professional experience to deserving historical performance graduates. In addition to a monetary award, fellows benefit from coaching, 教训, 和 master classes with English Concert musicians, including its music director 哈利Bicket, 和 from performances on their own 和 with the English Concert. The fellowship is made possible with the generous support of The English Concert in America.
The Mercury-Juilliard Fellowship
每年春天, Mercury Chamber Orchestra holds auditions at Juilliard, selecting up to four graduating students to participate in a one-year fellowship with the ensemble. Fellows perform with Mercury during the season, gaining valuable performance experience while introducing Houston to the next generation of great period performance musicians.
